Collecchio, 16 July 2024 <\/em>\u2013 At 09:30 CEST Zion Suzuki made his first appearance on ‘Field 1′ at the Mutti Training Center in Collecchio, joining the goalkeepers’ group, which included Leandro Chichizola, Edoardo Corvi, and Filippo Rinaldi. Under the guidance of trainer Valerio Visconti, the four Gialloblu (including the new signing) participated in a session focused on goalkeeping defence, saving techniques, and passing skills.<\/p>\n

The group warmly welcomed Zion, who was cheerful and smiling, often joking about the ‘translations.’ Initially, they communicated in English, then Zion translated each movement and action into Japanese, and finally, an Italian definition was given. The group, consisting of Chichizola, Corvi, and Rinaldi, integrated the Japanese goalkeeper very well, showing great cohesion and dedication. The session continued with the rest of the team, where Suzuki, alternating with Chichizola, Corvi, and Rinaldi, participated in small-sided games under the guidance of coach Fabio Pecchia and the rest of the technical staff. The goalkeepers’ session concluded with gym work and lasted a little over two hours.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the team focused on strength and conditioning on the field, tactical drills for both the defensive and attacking lines, small-sided games on a reduced pitch, and a full-pitch match. In the afternoon, the team engaged in gym activities at the Mutti Training Center in Collecchio.<\/p>\n
